The Cash Velocity Benchmark
Score your invoice-to-cash chain in six minutes
Most finance teams can name their DSO to the day. Very few can name which handoff in the chain is producing it. This scores all seven and tells you which ones are costing you the most days.
What you get back
- Your Cash Velocity Score across the seven handoffs, with the two weakest called out
- Your days above terms, attributed to the handoffs most likely to be producing them
- The working capital those days are holding, in dollars, from your own numbers
- The Wave 1 aggregate report before it is published anywhere
What it asks
- Twelve questions about how billing, collections, disputes, and cash application actually run
- Ranges and estimates are fine
- Nothing requires you to pull a report
- If you know your DSO and roughly how invoices reach customers, you can finish it
What it does not do
- No sales call is attached to this
- Your individual answers are never published, quoted, or shared with a vendor
- Aggregates only, minimum cell size of five
- Your score is calculated in your browser and shown before you are asked for anything

Pick one. Your score is calculated in this browser and never leaves it unless you ask for the report.

What those days are holding
$0
Revenue midpoint divided by 365, multiplied by the recoverable days above. Working capital sitting in receivables instead of in the business.
This is an estimate built from your answers, not a measurement of your ledger. It assumes the recoverable portion of your days above terms is proportional to how weak your handoffs scored.
Peer comparison
Wave 1 is still collecting. Peer percentiles publish when the wave closes on September 30, 2026, and participants receive the full dataset first. I am not going to show you a made-up percentile in the meantime.
Send me the Wave 1 report
Your score is already on this page and yours to keep. If you want the aggregate when Wave 1 closes, along with where you landed against companies of similar size and billing model, leave an email.
One email when the wave closes, plus The Velocity Stack if you want it. No sales sequence attached to this.

Why I am running this
There is no trusted benchmark for invoice-to-cash performance. There are vendor surveys, which measure what vendors want measured, and there are DSO tables, which give you the score without the game. I ran a research firm in this space for fifteen years. This is the number I always wanted and could never find.
Who is in Wave 1
Controllers, AR and credit leaders, VPs of Finance, CFOs, and treasury leads at B2B companies from $50M to $1B in revenue. Manufacturing, distribution, business services, and B2B software. Wave 1 closes September 30, 2026.
